Bread Is Great And Cashiers Are Very Friendly...We are regular Customers wich means we are familiar with all the faces Until today ,we don't know if the lady Is the manager but she was being very agresive with one of the cashiers .... At some point we had to stay to make sure she was going to be ok . Cashiers kept it proffesional and continue doing there job... We don't really know what was going

El Metate Panadería is a charming local bakery with a welcoming vibe and friendly staff. While most of the staff speak little English, they’re kind, patient, and eager to help with a smile. The display is full of delicious Mexican pastries, all freshly made and smelling amazing. From conchas to empanadas, everything looks and tastes homemade. The quality of the baked goods is impressive, especially for the low prices. It’s a great spot to grab a quick treat or a box to share. The place has a no-frills, authentic feel that adds to its charm. Don’t expect fancy service, but expect to leave satisfied. It’s a hidden gem for anyone who loves traditional pan dulce. Not only is the pan dulce delicious, it’s freshly baked daily and priced reasonably. The pieces are twice the size of what you get at a local Mexican supermarket and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s a small spot and may get crowded at times so be patient it’s worth the wait.

This is my spot like have so much amazing breads and desserts like the custard is wow like super delicious and the cake here is so bomb they make so many cool custom cakes and the prices are super good here support this spot 🙌💪

It gave me great pleasure to go through this bakery, since I was little my mother used to bring me here to buy bread... always an exquisite flavor, they have always maintained the same flavor, a great variety and assortment of different types of bread for all tastes... The staff that works there is exceptional ... very good customer service ... highly recommended, if you live, oh you are visiting Santa Ana, CA ... do not miss this place ...... you will not regret it ... The conchas are my favourites,
